Rajni Patil, Alka Lamba lead Mahila Congress March to Raj Bhawan, police foils March at Indira Chowk

AICC Incharge J k Affairs smt Rajni Patil MP along with AICC spokesperson Alka lamba, JkPCC chief GA Mir, Working President Ramân Bhalla, Mula Ram, Chief Spokesperson Ravinder Sharma, Former Minister Yogesh Sawhney , Rajnish Sharma, Hari Singh chib and others were stopped today from marching head alongwith hundreds of Mahila Congress workers led by President Indu Pawar, towards Raj Bhawan at Indira Gandhi Chowk Jammu, on the occasion of Mahila Divas. The police stopped a strong protest march of Jk Mahila Congress "Beti Adhikaar Rally" from proceeding ahead from Indira Chowk , towards LG house, lodging their protest over women rights, price rise, record unemployment and other burning issues.The March coincided with the international women day, to highlight the rights and issues of women and seek their due rights and dignity. The protestors raised slogans of "Ladki hun , lad sakti hun" the slogan coined by Priyanka Gandhi .

Organised by Jk mahila Congress , the March started from near the statue of former prime minister Smt Indira Gandhi where they offered floral petals to the martyred prime minister, the symbol of women empowerment and unity and integrity of country.

AICC Incharge, Rajni Patil led the March along with Alka lamba, PCC President G A Mir, Ramân Bhalla,Mula Ram, Ravinder Sharma, Yogesh Sawhney, Kanta Bhan,Rajnish Sharma, Hari Singh Chib, Gurbachan Rana, Udey Chib , Karan Bhagat, Pawan Raina, Shashi Sharma, Sahil sharma, Ricky Dalotra, Ritu Chaudhary,Vandana Makhnotra, and other prominent Mahila Congress leaders.
